Who We Are

The Connecticut Rivers Council is one of New England’s largest private youth-serving organizations, delivering Scouting programs that develop character, citizenship, fitness, and leadership skills to more than 17,000 youth and nearly 5,000 adult volunteers in 127 cities and towns across Connecticut. Scouting America collaborates with hundreds of churches, school-affiliated groups, and other community organizations that organize and operate local Scout groups.

Our Mission
OUR MISSION: It is the mission of Scouting America and the Connecticut Rivers Council to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Quote

On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
